How Do I Apply?
BEFORE YOU APPLY - Call us on 0845 607 8787 or complete and email the SMART: SCOTLAND Initial Enquiry Form to smart@scotent.co.uk. This will help us advise you whether SMART: SCOTLAND is the best route for your enquiry before you make a full application.
HOW TO APPLY - If you are confident that SMART: SCOTLAND is for you, you can apply at any time by downloading the Application Form, complete with guidance notes. Your application will need to include the following elements :
- completed application form - to assess your eligibility and suitability of your project;
- separate project proposal - to assess the technical and commercial objectives of your project;
- business plan - to assess where project fits with the business strategy;
- completed cost estimation and financial projections workbooks - providing financial details of both the project and business; and
- recent accounts - to assess strength of the business, project viability and need for grant.
To assist you in completion of your application we have provided an Exemplar Application.
When you submit a full application you will be assigned a Case Officer who will take you through the whole process.
