Peak Scientific Instruments Limited is a manufacturer of nitrogen and hydrogen gas generators mainly targeted at the laboratory testing market.  The company, which is based at Inchinnan Business Park, Renfrewshire, is heavily focussed on global export markets, particularly the US.  We offered RSA of £350,000 in August 2006 in respect of a £1.4m project to increase production capacity at the site.  Our assistance helped secure the project for Scotland in the face of other competing locations in the US and the investment should help the company expand its international presence.  The investment is expected to lead in the creation of 21 new jobs as well as the safeguarding of a further 19.
